Organising committee, Bangladeshi Student Research Initiative
Volunteer research network connecting students in Bangladesh with researchers abroad

President, Bangladeshi Grad Alliance UBC
University of British Columbia
Co-founded the organisation and served as its inaugural President, establishing the first executive committee and running community events for Bangladeshi graduate students.

Project manager, SynBio 6.0
University of British Columbia
Managed the organisation of a two-day national synthetic biology symposium hosted at UBC, bringing together around 100 Canadian researchers.

Project co-ordinator and organiser, Random Promoter DREAM Challenge
UBC, IBM Research and Sage Bionetworks
Co-organised an international competition with over 100 teams — roughly 300 scientists from 75+ universities and companies — to build models predicting gene expression from sequence. Ran daily operations as the only graduate student on the organising committee.
